My story
My curiosity about creating change and moving towards my desired life started many years before working with clients. I observed individuals in my life struggle with mental health, addiction, and intergenerational trauma. I decided I wanted to create change and break the cycle of avoidance. I took the steps to expand my capacity towards healing and continue to do so with therapy and coaching.
I started my professional life working in the field of medical administration. The 9-5 pm office life wasn’t fulfilling my needs for exploration and curiosity. I then began my 20 year travel journey as a flight attendant. I have been to 33 countries and five continents and am always planning my next adventure. Travel is truly a space where I recharge and feel empowered.
During this time of traveling, I decided I wanted to further my professional goals and completed my master’s degree in counseling. I have loved working with clients to expand their capacity to accept change and gain strength to achieve their desired life. I have experience supporting individuals and couples through life transitions, including parenting, marriage, college, changes within identity, careers, grief, loss, traumatic events, and relationships to body and food.
Living a value-driven life has me continuing to advance, connect, and grow with my clients in the field of mental health and wellness.
Areas of interest
I am honored to have the opportunity to guide people to lead fulfilling lives through my wellness and supportive practice.
In my work with clients, I identify systems within life and family that impact the stories we tell ourselves. I then help clients create new stories from a values perspective. Throughout someone’s lifespan, I guide them on self-compassion, acceptance, regulation, navigating relationship changes, a sense of self, and value-driven purpose.
My approach integrates mindfulness, Health At Every Size (HAES), family systems, somatic techniques, movement, and awareness to explore opportunities for change. I encourage clients to be motivated, open, curious and understand their boundaries and voice. You are the expert, and I would feel honored to be your guide!
